Jennifer Kahlenberg is the sixth grade language arts teacher at Sunset Ridge School. Since becoming an educator in 2002, she has taught in grades second through six, in Lake Forest, Chicago, and Northfield. Ms. Kahlenberg is passionate about children's reading and writing. She is specifically interested in helping her students find their unique voice through writing and discovering books that encourage them to think beyond the pages. Her educational background includes a B.A. from the University of Iowa in Elementary Education and a M.A. from DePaul University in Social and Cultural Foundations of Education.
