Coaching Handbook

MISSION STATEMENT

Interscholastic athletics at Sunset Ridge School are designed to provide our students with the opportunity to develop fundamental skills, to learn the rules and strategies, and to engage in healthy competition in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie to enhance their love of the game.

GOAL OF OUR PROGRAM

Interscholastic athletics at Sunset Ridge School are open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  Athletics at SRS are designed to help develop skills, promote sportsmanship and fair play, and provide an experience that fosters physical, mental, and social-emotional growth within student-athletes.

Every year and every team is unique and has its own strengths and challenges.  As a small school, we are consistently striving to maintain a program that values growth and development in all of our student-athletes, one team at a time.

Below is some information about the athletics offered, including season dates by sport and what is needed to participate in SRS athletics.
