I am a proud Rambler, graduating from Loyola University Chicago in 2016 with majors in Secondary Education and Math, with a minor in ESL education.  This will be my eighth year teaching middle school math and my fourth year at Sunset Ridge, having previously spent the last four years teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra in CPS.  When I'm not in school, I'm probably reading a good mystery novel, running, trying a new recipe, watching Chicago sports, or spending time with my many pets!

I firmly believe that students make the most meaning of mathematics when the work is student-centered and rooted in the real world, so I try to embed these opportunities into my teaching practice as often as a can.  I can't wait to meet you all and learn together this year!
