Dear Parents/Guardians,
Hi to all the Fourth and Fifth grade families. Both Dave and I would like to welcome back all of our fourth and fifth grade students and their families! It is going to be a phenomenal year working with all of you!
We would like to inform all of the families of the fourth and fifth grade that there is an extra-curricular program geared for all these grade level students called AM Rec.
Programming will take place for both the fourth and fifth grades from 7:50-8:20 daily. The days of the week in which the program will take place for fourth grade and fifth grade will be dependent on the calendar date. Fourth grade will participate on the even days of the calendar and fifth grade will participate on the odd days of the calendar. For example August 23, 2022 would be a fifth grade day and August 24, 2022 would be a fourth grade day. Then days would just keep alternating for each grade level from here on out.
All students will enter through the main entrance of the school and then come into the gym to sign in. AM Rec provides morning PE activities, including an introductory climbing program for the fourth and fifth graders.
There is no cost associated with participation in this program. It is all sponsored by the Sunset Ridge PTO to help you jump start your day!!
A huge thanks to the PTO for this opportunity for our students.
Any date and/or program changes will be communicated to the students. Masks will be optional for participation.
